Our 1st meeting

Our 1st official meeting regarding the theme 3 case was quite effective. Since we function well not only as a group but also friends, it was not difficult for us to decide on what is the most favourable company to move forward with.

The main goal of the meeting was for each of us to present our favoured companies. Some of us went through elaborate presentations, some argumented it through personal experiences and relations and some just by pure fascination of what the companies were doing.

The majority of us were leaning towards working with hotel based companies by actively focusing on the hospitality industry, however, not all of us had a personal relation to all hotels offered, so we couldn't reach a consensus on which hotel chain to go with. 

Therefore, we could say that having 1st hand experience and personal relation to the company of choice was extremely important for us when choosing a project company. Even though only the minority of us had a relation with the project companies suggested by the teachers, we have come to a conclusion that it is important that all of us have some sort of relation to the project company, so, as a result, the suggested companies were dismissed.

The highlight of the meeting was definitely when Nicoleta suggested working with Storms Pakhus. It just suddenly clicked and made sense. All of us had a personal relation and great experiences with Storms more than once and we have also had a chance to visit the street food location as a group. We could say that this personal affiliation was something that got us really excited and pushed us to move forward with Storm's. All in all, it can be said that our united appreciation for Storms was the reason of the choice.

We finalized our meeting by settling with Storms Pakhus and that each and every member was at least somewhat excited about the company of choice followed by regular chit chat as a good team usually does.
